Meet the Cuda Team and a Thank you From Casey Jones

Welcome to the Cuda Tech Tips Blog! Before we kick off 2024 with providing our customers with technical guitar tips we wanted you to get to know the Cuda Winders team. Plus, we wanted to send our customers and readers a thank you letter from one of our co-founders, Casey Jones. We are a small team of three co-founders who are passionate about sharing our product with as many guitarists as possible to enable them to re-string their instruments in the most efficient and effective way so they can just get back to making great music. Here is a quick intro to the Cuda team:

Casey Jones

Casey is a luthier, craftsman, and the original inventor of the Cuda Winder. Originally developed over 10 years ago as a tool to help him provide the best results for his clients, Casey is ready to share his professional tool with the world. He not only has 30+ years of experience as a guitarist and luthier, he also has the heart of a teacher, which makes him thrive in one-on-one interactions. We can’t wait for you to get to know him better. Casey is a guitar tech at Alamo Music Center and lives in San Antonio, TX.

Ryan Simpson

Ryan has over 30 years of experience as a guitarist and vocalist. He met Casey about a decade ago in need of some professional guitar work and the two hit it off pretty quickly. He’s one of the most kind, and trustworthy people you’ll ever meet, which is why he is one of the only people with whom Casey entrusted his idea for the Cuda system. He saw big things for Casey and how his idea could shake up the guitar scene. He is a big picture man and clearly the visionary of the group. Ryan lives in Ingram, TX with his wife, April, and kids, Grace, Brooke, and Landon.

Eric Haddad

With over 10 years of product development experience, Eric’s skill set helped round out the team and give it the final push to where we are today. He has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for product engineering, 3D printing, and manufacturing. By far the least talented musician in the group, he started learning guitar in 2023 and is looking forward to honing his guitar skills under the tutelage of Ryan and Casey. Eric lives in El Paso, TX with his wife, Betsy, and two kids, Sam and Holly.

A Letter from our co-founder and master guitar craftsman, Casey Jones

Happy new year!

How time flies. 2023 is in the rearview mirror and 2024 has begun. Here at Cuda Winders we are celebrating the journey that has brought us to 2024.  2023 was a milestone for us, as we were able to accomplish some short term business goals and lay ground work for the future ahead. So much has happened, it's difficult to process all the joy and excitement that this past year offered. We share this news with you because with out the love and support of the Cuda nation, none of this would be possible.

From the deepest depths of our soul I want to thank everyone who took a chance with our product. I know it is not easy to trust a company or product that is pioneering a new way of doing things, but you did.

To our original beta testing team, the early adopters, and our very special retail/wholesale friends: thank you.  Above all we would like to thank the Cuda Collective, each and every one of our individual customers that placed their trust and hard earned money into the Cuda Winder brand. Your support has been epic. We wish everyone a happy New Year. Stay in touch with your questions and feedback and keep a look out for updates to our website where we will be adding fun facts and technical tips. Thanks so much.
